In addition to assessments, we conduct educational research, analysis and policy studies and develop a variety of customized services and products for teacher certification, English language learning and elementary, secondary and postsecondary education.

Currently, ETS's Research & Development division has an opening for a Senior Research Project Manager in the Center for Assessment Innovations. The Center for Assessment Innovations focuses on research that supports advances in natural language processing and speech technologies as well as innovations in scoring. This position will support the ongoing research agenda in support of ETS program initiatives, including new item types and scoring methodologies. Responsibilities will include planning, coordinating and supporting a range of research projects, and managing a team of research support staff. In this role you will direct the completion of research, data preparation and annotation, data analysis, systems, and operations by R&D staff, as well as prepare responses for proposals and proposal preparation efforts as assigned by senior staff. The SR. Research Project Manager must anticipate and take appropriate action including timely communication of major problems to senior management, document, and recommend contingency plans. This position will require you to act as technical contact to clients; advise clients on research policy and procedural issues, and initiate contact with potential clients. You will also participate in professional meetings, providing ETS with regional or national visibility. 

Job Requirements
Our requirements include:
-  A Master's degree in linguistics, or closely related field, is required.
-  Six years of experience is required, including evidence of experience with project management and the ability to multitask and work under pressure within strict timelines.
-  Knowledge of educational measurement and research is preferred.
