Meeting Description: 

The Slavic Department of the University of Leipzig is pleased to announce the 10th European Conference on Formal Description of Slavic Languages (FDSL-10). The conference will take place from 5 December to 7 December 2013.

The aim of the FDSL conference series is to bring together scholars from all over the world presenting their theoretical, computational or experimental linguistic research on Slavic languages.

In celebration of the fact that this will be the tenth FDSL, there will also be two special workshops. The first workshop, chaired by Maria Polinsky, will be focusing on various aspects of Heritage Language. The second workshop 'Formal Perspectives and Diachronic Change in Slavic Languages' will be organised by Roland Meyer. The workshop will focus on instances of diachronic change in Slavic languages and their analysis in formal models of grammar.
