Description:

The Department of Hindi at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul seeks a lecturer to teach Hindi in an established program for the 2014-2015 academic year. The lecturer will teach 12 hours per semester, each semester beginning March 2, 2014 and September 1, 2014.  

Applicant must have an M.A. or a Ph.D., or be A.B.D, preferably in Hindi or a related field. Applicant should have experience teaching Hindi as a second language at the college level. Salary is contingent upon qualifications and experience and the number of courses taught. 

Contract for 1 year and may be renewed yearly.

Please send a letter of application indicating the texts and methods that you have used in Hindi instruction, a C.V. with separate list of publications, one or two sets of sample tests and quizzes, and one letter of reference from your previous employer electronically to the application email address below. Please list “Hindi” in email title. Further documents may be requested to applicants after preliminary review.
