The Department is a young and vibrant Department established in 2004. It now invites applications for full-time Lectureships for the summer term of the academic year 2013-2014. Applicants should have (i) a relevant Master degree or above; (ii) experience in teaching courses in one of the following languages as a foreign/second language: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai; (iii) the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; and preferably (iv) experience in teaching Asian learners at university level. Those with at least four years’ post-Master relevant experience may be considered for appointment at Lecturer rank.  

Appointments will be made on contract basis from May 2, 2014 to June 30, 2014 (non-renewable).  Applications will be accepted until the posts are filled.

Salary and Fringe Benefits:
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package for full-time appointments, including medical care.
