Meeting Description:

The conference theme is the role of language of identity processes, such as in
working life, education and the media. Invited speakers are professor Ben
Rampton, King's college, Dr. Nóra Schleicher, Budapest School of Business and
Communication, and professor Per Ledin, Örebro University. They will address
topics such as multilanguage use in the workplace, material conditions for
language acquisition/development in school and language use by workplace
managers.


Call for Papers:

We welcome papers with contributions to the theoretical development of the field of language and identity, and papers analysing relevant empirical data. Maximum 300 words. Send papers to asla at sh.se. Acceptances will be sent out in March 2014 via email.
