Overview:
 
Linguistic Research is a double-blind peer-reviewed international journal of general and theoretical linguistics published by the Institute for the Study of Language and Information, Kyung Hee University, in Seoul.
 
Founded in 1979, the journal publishes original pieces of research in all areas of language study. The journal welcomes in particular papers addressing analyses of modern languages from various disciplinary fields including general linguistics (syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, historical linguistics), computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, applied linguistics, among others.
 
The journal is published both in print and electronically and the languages of publication are English and Korean.
 
Submission Guidelines:
 
Linguistic Research is published three times a year, at the end of April, August, and December. Manuscripts for consideration can be submitted at any time, but those written in Korean are considered only for publication in the August issue. All manuscripts submitted to Linguistic Research must include an abstract (250-300 words) and keywords (5-7 words or phrases) written in English.
 
Electronic submissions are required. Kindly send the paper in pdf or MS word format to the Editor, isli.editor at khu.ac.kr.

Initial submissions need not fully conform to the style sheet. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, authors must submit revised versions prepared in strict accordance with the Linguistic Research style sheet. The Linguistic Research style sheet is generally the same as for the journal LANGUAGE, with some modifications. Detailed information can be found at http://isli.khu.ac.kr/journal/submission/.
