Η παρούσα εργασία πραγματεύεται τη γλωσσική πρακτική των πολιτικών λόγων του Ιουλιανού. Εξετάζονται οι μηχανισμοί της συνεκτικότητας και της δια-κειμενικότητας και ερμηνεύονται αφενός μεν οι ρητορικές σχέσεις που υλοποιούν την πρώτη, αφετέρου δε η ιδεολογική λειτουργία των διακειμενικών πηγών. Ο συνδυασμός αυτών των δύο κειμενικών μηχανισμών στο πλαίσιο της Θεωρίας της Ρητορικής Δομής και της Κριτικής Ανάλυσης λόγου δίνει τη δυνατότητα να εξαχθούν χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα για το κείμενο, το περικείμενο των λόγων και για τον πολιτικό χαρακτήρα του Ιουλιανού.

This study examines the linguistic practice of Julian’s political speeches. The mechanisms of coherence and intertextuality are examined. Mainly, on the one hand the rhetorical relations that express the first are interpreted and on the other hand the ideological function of intertextualistic sources. The combination of these mechanisms based on both Rhetorical Structure Theory and Critical Discourse Analysis gives us the opportunity to draw conclusions about the text, the context of the speeches and Julian’s political character.
