Vrijdag 7 maart 2014 vindt de jaarlijkse Juniorendag van Anéla en VIOT plaats aan de Universiteit Leiden. Tijdens de juniorendag kunnen studenten, net afgestudeerden en promovendi op het gebied van toegepaste taalkunde en taalbeheersing (o.a. taalgebruik, taalverwerving, taalonderwijs, communicatie)  hun onderzoek presenteren. 

On Friday March 7, 2014, Anéla (the Dutch Society for Applied Linguistics) and VIOT (the Dutch and Flemish Interuniversity Association for Speech Communication) organize their yearly junior study day (Juniorendag) at Leiden University. During the Juniorendag, graduate students, junior researchers and PhD students in the field of applied linguistics (language use, language acquisition, education, discourse, communication) get the opportunity to present their work.

Call for Papers:

Op vrijdag 7 maart 2014 wordt de jaarlijkse Juniorendag van Anéla en VIOT georganiseerd in Leiden. Studenten, net afgestudeerden en promovendi kunnen op de Juniorendag hun scriptie- of promotieonderzoek op het gebied van toegepaste taalkunde en taalbeheersing(o.a. taalgebruik, taalverwerving, taalonderwijs, communicatie) in een informele sfeer presenteren tijdens een lezing of een posterpresentatie. Daarnaast wordt op deze dag de jaarlijkse Anéla-VIOT Scriptieprijs uitgereikt voor de beste scriptie binnen het vakgebied. 

Meld je nu aan voor een presentatie tijdens de Juniorendag. Dien vóór 6 januari 2014, 17.00 uur een samenvatting (max. 200 woorden) van je onderzoek in via http://www.anela.nl/activiteiten/juniorendag/abstract-indienen/. Vergeet niet alle persoonlijke informatie (naam, universiteit, adres) uit het bestand te verwijderen en aan te geven of je voorkeur hebt voor een mondelinge presentatie of een posterpresentatie. Voor eind januari laten we weten of je aanmelding is geaccepteerd.

At the Juniorendag, graduate students, junior researchers and PhD candidates in the field of applied linguistics (language use, language acquisition, education, discourse, communication) get the opportunity to present their work. In addition, the annual Anéla-VIOT Scriptieprijs is awarded to the best BA- or MA-thesis in the field of applied linguistics. 

If you want to present a paper or poster at the Juniorendag, please upload your abstract, in Dutch or English, on http://www.anela.nl/activiteiten/juniorendag/abstract-indienen/ before January 6, 2014, 17.00. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words, and they should not include any personal information (name, university/institute, address). Please indicate whether you prefer a poster presentation or an oral lecture. Before the end of January we will let you know whether your abstract has been accepted.
