Abstract:

The 15th Hispanic Linguistics Symposium was held at the University of Georgia
from October 6-9, 2011. This volume contains 24 of the papers presented at the
conference, including the plenaries from Kimberly L. Geeslin and Paula
Kempchinsky. The papers are divided into sections on Historical Linguistics
and Language Change, Second Language Acquisition and Teaching, Phonology and
Phonetics, Sociolinguistics and Pragmatics, and Syntax and Semantics. The
