Description:

The George Mason University, Department of English, Program in Linguistics announces a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Linguistics beginning fall 2014. The linguistics program at George Mason offers a Ph.D., M.A., an undergraduate concentration, and various minors in linguistics. 

Qualifications: 

Completion of a Ph.D. in Linguistics is required before August 2014. Preferred candidates should have a specialization in theoretical phonology. A secondary specialization in experimental phonology or second language acquisition is strongly favored. Must demonstrate potential for excellence in scholarship, and in graduate and undergraduate teaching.
