In collaboration with ELT at I (English Language Teachers’ Association of India) Shillong Chapter, Meghalaya.

Spot Registration:

Faculty member with paper: Rs. 600/-
Research Scholar with paper: Rs. 400/-
Participation without paper: Rs. 300/-
Student with paper: Rs. 200/-

Registration fee includes only Seminar kit, lunch and refreshments. 

Registration will be open an hour before the start of the technical session in the morning on both days. There is, however, a provision for early bird registration which will cost Rs.100/- (e.g. Rs. 600-100=Rs. 500/-) less than the amount scheduled for spot registration. The early bird registration can be done at the Department of English and the last date is 30 April 2014.  

We regret the fact that we are not in a position to provide accommodation for outstation participants. If you need any accommodation we can provide you information regarding hotels and guesthouses based in the town. 

Call for Papers:

Proposals for presentation, workshops and poster presentations dealing with the theme of the seminar as well as any other related aspects are invited.

The abstract should be about 300 words and please send it to doleysarat at gmail.com. The abstract may be prepared using MS-Word according to the following format:

Title of the paper : Bold – in the title format, Times New Roman Font-14.
Name of the authors : In Capital letters, Times New Roman Font - 12.
Address : Full address with email id and phone number should be given.

Abstracts will be published in the Seminar proceedings. The best presentation will be honoured with a handsome cash prize of Rs. 2000/- , a certificate and a book kit. Selected full papers are likely to be published with ISBN number separately.

Last date of submission of abstract: 20 April 2014.
Last date of submission of full paper: 30 April 2014.
