Looking for advice in Praat: I have a set of preschool narratives, which I
intend to analyze for pauses using de Jong's script. I've already clipped them
to remove the frame of the interview, so that only the narrative is left. The
problem is that the microphones we used picked up the comments from the
interviewer as well, and some of the files have interjections by the
interviewer in the midst of the child's narrative. What is the best way to
handle these interjections so that they don't contaminate the pause
measurements? Thanks in advance!
