Linguistic Field(s): Forensic Linguistics

Meeting Description:

The purpose of the GSFL Roundtable is to provide researchers, teachers, and practitioners working within forensic linguistics the opportunity to present and discuss their work within an interdisciplinary, collegial setting.

Academics, professionals, and students who are interested in attending the conference without presenting a paper or a poster are more than welcome. However, space is limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. In addition, given the seriousness of the topics and the
graphic imagery which may be presented during the conference, all attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

Confirmed guest speakers include Dr. S. Blackwell, Dr. B. Eisenwort, Dr. F. van der Houwen, and Detective Marie Allen. For information on their scheduled presentations, see: http://www.gsfl.info

In addition, this year's Roundtable will feature a Special Student Day for undergraduates and graduates interested in a career in Forensic Linguistics or Forensic Phonetics. For more on this event, see: bit.ly/Ub3iBU
