Description:

The School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics at ANU is seeking 
to appoint a talented a Level B (Assistant Professor) scholar to 
strengthen the Spanish program in the School of Literature, Languages 
and Linguistics, for (initially) a four-year term. 

The appointee will be expected to have an active research agenda in 
Hispanic Studies, in one or more of Translation, Film, Gender or 
Literary Studies, and bring expertise and intellectual distinction to our 
existing research profile. S/he will contribute to the School’s teaching 
programs in Spanish and in his/her area of specialisation at all levels 
(Undergraduate, Honours, MA and PhD), and will recruit and supervise 
Honours, MA and PhD students. The appointee should be active in 
professional service within ANU, and nationally and internationally in 
his/her relevant disciplines, as well as to undertake outreach to the 
broader community
