Description:

We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of
Mathematics at Simon Fraser University. The candidate will collaborate with
Paul Tupper and other researchers in Cognitive Science at SFU. See
http://www.sfu.ca/cognitive-science/people.html for faculty interests. Current
projects include working with the phonology group in SFU’s Department of
Linguistics (professors J. Alderete and A. Farris-Trimble) or in the Cognitive
Science lab (M. Blair, director).

Applicants must either have experience in a computationally intensive branch
of linguistics or psychology, or a background in mathematics with an interest
in cognitive science.  Applicants from all disciplines are encouraged to
apply. The salary will be at a competitive level and include funding for
travel. Fellows will need to teach one undergraduate course per year.

three recommendation letters with one addressing teaching to be sent
separately. Screening of applicants will begin on December 15th. Applicants
received after this date will still be considered as long as the position
remains open.
