Meeting Description:

The Department of Language and Linguistic Science at The University is proud to host the 11th edition of the Workshop on Altaic Formal Linguistics which will take place between 4–6 of June 2015.

This year’s WAFL will feature invited talks by:

Heejeong Ko (Seoul National University)
Eric McReady (Aoyama Gakuin University)

Call for Papers:

We invite papers on all areas of formal linguistics related to any of the Altaic Languages. The term ‘Altaic’ is understood to include Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic languages, as well as Korean and Japanese.

Submission Procedure:

Abstracts should be submitted via Easychair by visiting the following URL:

Abstracts should be at most 2 pages in length (1inch/2.5cm margins on all sides font no smaller than 11pt) including examples and references.  files should be in pdf format.

Important Dates:

Deadline for submission: March 1, 2015
