Call Deadline: 11-Feb-2014 

The Journal of Universal Language (ISSN 1598-6381) is concerned with artificial languages, language typology and other linguistics areas such as phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Papers on other topics will be given careful consideration. 

Papers are peer reviewed. The JUL is published both in print and electronically in the spring and fall of each year. 

Format:
The language of publication is English, and the format is essentially Chicago Style. See www.unish.org for further details. The length of the manuscript should not exceed 40 pages. A 200-word abstract should be given at the beginning of each manuscript followed by several key words.

Submissions:
Electronic submissions are preferred. Kindly send the paper in MS Word format to Silo Chin, Managing Editor, at both of the following email addresses: unish at sejong.ac.kr and silochin at sejong.ac.kr. The submission deadline for this call is 11 February, 2014.

Sejong Prize:
JUL selects one or two academically distinguished papers every year among the published ones in JUL and awards the authors of these papers either $3,000 or $2,000 (USD) the following March.
