Description:

The University seeks to appoint a full time and open-ended lecturer in Bilingualism, cognitive and/or developmental aspects of Bilingualism within the School of Philosophy Psychology and Language Sciences. 

The successful candidate will conduct research on the Linguistic, cognitive and/or developmental aspects of Bilingualism, offer undergraduate courses in this area and contribute teaching to our Masters programmes in LEL. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise and recruit PhD students working in their area of research. The successful candidate will also be expected to build external collaborations and to demonstrate potential for attracting external grant funding. The successful candidate will engage in research of international excellence, and will contribute to the development of LEL as a centre of international excellence within the School. The successful candidate will have normal teaching and administrative duties. 

This post is available from 1st August 2014 

Salary Scale: £37,756 - £45,053 per annum
