This is a reminder to encourage anyone who is considering submitting a course proposal to be sure to submit by the deadline, 2/15!

The 2015 Linguistic Institute will take place on the campus of the University of Chicago, with major sponsorship by the Linguistic Society of America and the University of Chicago. The theme of the 2015 Linguistic Institute is Linguistic Theory in a World of Big Data.

The Institute, which will take place from July 6-July 31, 2015, is seeking proposals for courses. Relevance to the theme is just one criterion among many that we will use to select courses, so although theme-relevant courses are especially welcome, all proposals will be considered.

The call for proposals, with detailed instructions and a link for submissions, is available at:
http://lucian.uchicago.edu/blogs/lsa2015/call-for-course-proposals-2/

The website is open for submissions now, and the deadline for receiving course proposals is midnight on February 15, 2014.

More information about the Institute is available on the Institute website:
http://lsa2015.uchicago.edu/.

A list of courses that we have already solicited can be found here:
