The 'Laboratory of Excellence’ ASLAN Advanced Studies on Language Complexity is offering one postdoctoral fellowship for a period of 24 months. The candidates’ research project should address ASLAN scientific goals and fit into Work Package 3 (see below). The grantee will be hosted in Lyon, France in either the DDL (Dynamique Du Langage) or ICAR (Interactions, Corpus, Apprentissages, Représentations) laboratory, depending on their research topics.
The candidate research project will address issues related to at least one of the three following topics: 1. language development and impairments
2. modeling language use and interactions in context and/or
3. processes of acquisition and learning (see Work Package 3 description on the ASLAN website: http://aslan.universite-lyon.fr/recherche/).
Applicants must have received before October, 1st, 2014 a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral-level research degree relevant to the proposed profiles. The fellow will be hired by the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) on a fixed-term contract. The annual gross income will be €30,000. The place of work will be either the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon or the Human Sciences Institute, both located in Lyon, France.
- September, 15th 2014: Application deadline
- September 2014: Review of applications and selection by ASLAN Steering Committee
- October 2014: Final Decision by the Steering Committee
- Fall 2014: Postdoctoral fellowship start date
Proposals will be evaluated for candidate achievement, project scientific merit (significance, originality), compatibility with the Research profiles, and contribution to the research team in terms of skills and scientific topics.
