Meeting Description:

The 28th Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC 28) will be held in Phuket on December 12-14, 2014. It is hosted by the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University and co-hosted by the Language and Semantic Technology Laboratory, National Electronics and Computer Technology Center.  

The PACLIC series of conferences emphasize the synergy of theoretical analysis and processing of language, and provides a forum for researchers in different fields of language study in the Pacific-Asia region to share their findings and interests in the formal and empirical study of languages. Organized under the auspices of the PACLIC Steering Committee, PACLIC 28 will be the latest installment of our long standing collaborative efforts among theoretical and computational linguists in the Pacific-Asia region.
