Malaysia International Conference on English Language Teaching
Enabling Research, Making it Meet Practice
September 13-15, 2014
Palace of the Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur 

The 10th Malaysia International Conference on English Language Teaching (MICELT 2014), a biannual well-established ELT conference in the Asia Pacific Region, has consistently attracted more than 1000 participants and presenters from around the world at every occasion. It is now in its tenth edition at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The MICELT 2014 aims to explore novel approaches through “Enabling Research, Making it Meet Practice” and to ensure that English Language Teaching remains dynamic and relevant to meet the demands of the academic contemporary world.

Fees: USD 150.00 (15% IJALEL discount applicable = USD130)

Call for Papers:

International Journal of Applied Linguistics and English Literature (IJALEL) is in cooperation with MICELT 2014 to promote the quality of the conference as widely as possible. To this end, IJALEL members including authors and readers are cordially invited to submit their abstracts to the conference. 

In this regard, MICELT 2014 offers 15% discount on the conference registration fee if abstract submission and registration are made through IJALEL. [MICELT 2014 Abstract Submission & Registration Form (IJALEL Members Only] 

Note 1: No more than THREE presenters is allowed to register for the same paper.
Note 2: You should not submit your abstract to IJALEL if you have already submitted to the conference and if you have submitted your abstract via IJALEL, you should not submit it again to the conference.   
MICELT 2014 invites paper proposals from all areas in the ELT. Authors who are willing to publish their full papers are requested to see here. 

Absentee presentation is allowed. If you are unable to attend the conference but you are interested in presenting a paper, you are requested to notify us. In this case you should register and send the PowerPoint Slides to us via: editor at ijalel.org. The presentation certificate will be sent via air mail subsequently. 

Important Dates:

Deadline for abstract submission: 15 July 2014 
Date of notification of acceptance: 25 July 2014 

The abstract must not exceed 150 words and 5 key words. Bio-data must not exceed 60 words.
