Description:

The Division of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Washington seeks a full-time lecturer in Spanish to teach upper division Spanish linguistics courses and Spanish language courses at intermediate and advanced levels. Responsibilities include an annual teaching load of seven courses spread over three academic quarters plus some departmental service. Three-year renewable appointment in job classification code 0179, 100% time on a 9-month service period to begin autumn 2014. Non-tenure eligible.

Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics and/or Second Language Acquisition required. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and demonstrated excellence in Spanish language instruction at all levels required.
