Description:

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University at
Albany-SUNY seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish Linguistics to
begin September 2014. This is a one year non-renewable position. PhD in
Spanish Linguistics required. Preference will be given to candidates with
specialization in second language acquisition or candidates whose research
profile complements the existing strengths of the department. Ideal candidates
will have an established research profile/potential and solid teaching
credentials. Native or near native fluency in Spanish and English required.
Review of applications will begin April 15, 2014 and continue until filled.
Candidates should submit a cover letter and a CV, and arrange for 3 letters of
recommendation to be sent directly to Professor Lotfi Sayahi, Chair,
Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.  Send materials to the
