Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Tel-Aviv University seeks a qualified candidate to nominate for the Allon Fellowship in 2014. This fellowship awards the successful candidate a tenure-track position in the nominating department.

The fellowship is limited to candidates who have received their Ph.D. within the last five years. The candidate should have a solid background in linguistics and a research record in the field of first language acquisition. The candidate should be able to teach in Hebrew no later than two years after the beginning of her/his appointment. 

Note that nomination by the department is the first stage in a national competition and in itself does not guarantee receiving the fellowship.  

Applicants are requested to submit the following material:
1. CV and a list of publications
2. A statement of interests and research plan
3. Names of three potential referees who are familiar with the candidate’s academic achievements and potential.
