Description:

Successful applicants must hold a PhD-degree in communication and/or linguistics and be able to document interdisciplinary experience from post.doc. or assistant professorship positions and projects.
 
The position is hosted by the Department of Design and Communication (IDK) in Sønderborg. The position will be affiliated to the department’s research groups in language and communication in Sønderborg and in Kolding.
 
Applicants are expected to have a strong profile in communication studies and in interdisciplinarity. Applicants have their background in linguistics or communication and interaction research, for instance, in interaction analysis, business communication, or intercultural communication, and have a research focus on one or more of the following areas: user studies, communication design, computer-mediated communication/HCI or organisational discourse.
 
Since the associate professorships include teaching duties, a convincing teaching record at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as a ‘paedagogicum’ (the Danish lecturer training program) or similar is mandatory.
