Description:

The Department of Linguistics at McGill University invites applications for a non tenure-track position in phonetics and/or phonology at the rank of Faculty Lecturer, for the period of September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2015. General qualifications are a PhD in linguistics and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching in the area(s) of specialization. Duties include teaching and supervision at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The teaching load is two courses per Fall and Winter term.

Salary: $50,000. 

Deadline for application: May 30, 2014.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority. English is the language of instruction at McGill; knowledge of French is an asset.
