Meeting Description: 

Die Christliche Universität Partium in Oradea (Rumänien) hat mit den seit 2007 regelmäßig veranstalteten Germanistentagungen den Grundstein für ein Forum gelegt, das Germanisten die Gelegenheit zu einem internationalen und interdisziplinären wissenschaftlichen Austausch bietet. Die Möglichkeit zu diesem regen wissenschaftlichen Dialog ist auch durch den Veranstaltungsort selbst, die westrumänische Grenzstadt Großwardein/Oradea/Nagyvárad, gegeben, die auf eine lange Tradition der Multikulturalität und des Voneinander-Lernens zurückblicken kann.

Um nun diese Tradition, zu der sich unser Lehrstuhl verpflichtet hat, fortzuführen, veranstalten wir die VI. Internationale Germanistentagung, in deren Mittelpunkt literarische Reflexionen über den Krieg (Literaturwissenschaftliche Sektion) und der Themenkomplex Sprachvergleich ─ Sprachkontakt ─ Translation (Sprachwissenschaftliche Sektion) stehen.
