Das Deutsche Seminar der Universität Basel führt eine Tagung durch, um neuste Entwicklungen im Bereich der Kollokationenlexikographie zu präsentieren und im Hinblick auf ihren theoretischen Ertrag zu diskutieren. Der Fokus liegt dabei besonders auf dem Konzept der Kollokationen, auf der lexikographischen Methodologie, auf nutzungsfreundlichen, kritisch reflektierten Darstellungsmöglichkeiten sowie auf der Didaktik der Kollokationen.

Collocations in Language Use & Lexicography

The conference addresses recent developments concerning the lexicography of multi-word units and implications for theory. We are particularly interested in the concept of collocations, lexicographic methodology, user-friendly lexicographic data presentation and approaches to the teaching of collocations.

Call for Papers:

MehrWortverbindungen soll als Plattform dienen, um verschiedene wichtige Aspekte des Forschungsalltags in der Phraseologie und der Lexikographie zu diskutieren. Die Tagung gliedert sich in fünf Sektionen. Erwünscht sind Einzelvorträge & Projektvorstellungen (à 20 Minuten mit 10 Minuten Diskussion) und Posterpräsentationen - hierfür wird eine Postersession durchgeführt.

- Kollokationskonzept (Usuelle Worverbindungen, Mehrworteinheiten, ...)
- Methoden und Darstellungsmöglichkeiten in der Kollokationslexikographie
- das Kollokationenwörterbuch im Gebrauch: der didaktische Nutzen
- Gendersymmetrie im Wörterbuch
- Kollokationen und Regionalismen

Die Tagung findet vom 13.-15. Oktober 2014 an der Universität Basel statt.

Hinweise zur Einreichung von Beiträgen:

Umfang der Abstracts: 500 Wörter
Sprachen: Deutsch, Englisch oder Französisch
Verlängerung Einsendeschluss: 31. Mai 2014

Jeder Beitragsvorschlag wird anonym von mindestens zwei Mitgliedern des wissenschaftlichen Komitees begutachtet. Das Organisationskomitee stellt das Tagungsprogramm zusammen. Benachrichtigung über Annahme der Beiträge erfolgt bis 15. Juni 2014.

Call for Papers:

Multi-word-units provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of latest research in the fields of phraseology and lexicography. We encourage proposals for papers (20 minutes talk plus 10 minutes discussion) or posters (to be discussed by in a poster session) on one or several of the following issues:

- Different concepts of multi-word-units
- Methodology and data presentation
- Teaching of collocations / using collocation dictionaries
- Gender symmetry in the dictionary
- Collocations and regional variation

The conference will be held at the University of Basel from October 13-15, 2014.

Submission Guidelines:

Length of abstract: 500 words
Languages: German, English, French
Extended deadline: May 31, 2014

Abstracts (as PDF) and queries should be sent to Stefanie Meier (stefanie.meier at unibas.ch)

The proposals will be anonymously reviewed by two members of the scientific committee. The organizing committee will develop the conference programme. Notification of acceptance will be sent by June 15, 2014.
