Contemporary and Historical Dialects of Spanish in the United States

This session explores the Contemporary and Historical Dialects of Spanish in the United States. We are interested in papers that examine multidialectalism, multilingualism and languages and dialects in contact within the United States, as well as social and linguistic attitudes towards Spanish in the United States.

Call for Papers:

Send your 300-word abstract using the online form at http://www.pamla.org/2014/proposals. Please, direct your questions to Covadonga Lamar Prieto, covadonga.lamar-prieto at ucr.edu. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 15, although early submission is encouraged.
