Two Level B Lecturer in Linguistics positions ($83,904.14 - $99,635.89), one specialising in Syntax/Morphosyntax and one in Language Documentation/Field Linguistics.

1. Syntax/Morphosyntax

The role
The successful appointee will engage, as Lecturer, in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, postgraduate supervision, undertake and contribute to further development of the School's Linguistic program, as well as research, service/engagement and other activities associated with the School.

The person
Applicants should possess a PhD in the area of Linguistics with a demonstrated ability to be able to develop and teach advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in Language Documentation and Field Linguistics, at least one of Phonetics, Phonology, or Semantics, as well as general linguistics.  The applicant should also have demonstrated expertise and experience in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as supervision at postgraduate level.  The applicant should also have a record of high quality research publications and successful grant applications.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $83,904 - $99,636 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $98,168 - $116,574 p.a.).
