Focus: A 4-day introduction to statistics with R for researchers and graduate students in linguistics.

Description:
This workshop is an introduction to statistics for researchers and graduate
students in linguistics, held at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. The
workshop will be led by Stefan Gries and is a 4-day version of the statistics
bootcamp that he has conducted elsewhere. We will cover the following topics:
- basics of statistical thinking 
- basic data manipulation with R 
- selected monofactorial tests
- linear modeling (regression and AN(C)OVA)
- logistic regression for multifactorial variation
- graphs and other visual presentations of results

Participation is limited to 10 attendees, so reserve your space in the
