Description:

Limited Term Appointment in TESL

The Département des langues modernes et de traduction, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, invites applications for a limited term appointment in the Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Program, subject to approval by the relevant authorities. This limited term appointment, ending on May 31, 2015, will commence on July 1, 2014, or as agreed upon with the University.

Duties
The successful candidate will be engaged in teaching, research, and service to the community, and will provide pedagogical direction.

Qualifications
We seek an individual who holds a PhD (completed or at the thesis defense stage) in TESL or Applied Linguistics (English as a Second Language). Experience in teaching English as a Second Language within the Québec school system (at the primary or secondary school level), or in the required fields at the university level, is essential.

Highly proficient bilingualism (English and French) is required. Knowledge of Spanish would be desirable.
