Meeting Description:

The Austrian Students' Conference of Linguistics aims at bringing together PhD, Master and Bachelor students of linguistics to present and discuss their research projects in the field of all sub-disciplines of linguistics. The conference takes place at a different Austrian university each year and this time it will be organized by PhD students of the department of Romance Philology and of the department of Linguistics of the University of Salzburg. 

This year's invited speakers are:

Prof. Eva-Maria Remberger (University of Vienna)
Prof. Hubert Haider (University of Salzburg)

The registration fee will be €EUR 15.

Call for Papers:

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research projects (20 minutes talk plus 10 minutes discussion) in a multidisciplinary setting. All fields of linguistics (theoretical, applied, synchronic, diachronic, etc.) are welcome.  

Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words plus references, can be written in English or German and should include five keywords. Please send the anonymous abstract as a PDF attachment to oeskl4u at gmail.com and indicate your contact information (name, affiliation, email, field of study) in the body of the email.

Deadline for submission: Friday, 22 August 2014
Notification: No later than 1 October 2014
