Meeting Description:

In 2015, the AFMLTA celebrates its 20th conference as Australia’s largest
gathering of languages teaching and learning professionals. For #AFMLTA2015,
participants will come from around the country and overseas to share in
discussions about the state and future of languages education in schools and
universities. Our anniversary theme Pedagogies for a plurilingual Australia is
both a statement about Australia’s multilingual reality today and an
aspiration for our future. The conference will provide you with a forum for
the sharing of ideas, research findings and best practice approaches to
language teaching and learning in Australia and from around the world.


Call for Papers:

AFMLTA2015 accepts submissions for the following types of presentations:

- Paper (30 minutes plus 20 minutes discussion)
- Workshop (50 minutes)
- TeachMeet (7 minutes, up to 5 papers, 50 minutes)
- Poster

Submissions can be in any one of the following broad areas:

- Research and theory
- Practice and Pedagogy
- Technology
- Policy
- Leadership

The overall theme of the conference is 'Pedagogies for a plurilingual Australia' which we would like to explore from a variety of national and international perspectives.
