Description:

We invite applications for one post-doc position in theoretical linguistics
(syntax, morphology) or experimental linguistics (neurolinguistics,
psycholinguistics) at the Linguistics Centre at Universidade Nova de Lisboa
(CLUNL), available from May 2015. The position is for 12 months. 
The candidate will contribute to the FCT funded project IF/00846/2013
(Principal Investigator: Ludovico Franco). The project investigates the
grammar of Case, both within the nominal domain and within the argument and
event structure encoded in the clausal syntactic layer. The project also aims
at designing and realizing experiments to shed light on the relation between
Case and Agreement, as assumed in current minimalist researches.

Desired qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Linguistics
- Specialization in syntax, morphology and/or neurolinguistics /
psycholinguistics

The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international
research team (LiFE - Linguística Formal e Experimental). English is the
working language. Knowledge of Portuguese is an asset. Salary is € 1495,00 per
month.
