Meeting Description:

CHRONOS is the foremost international forum dedicated to current linguistic research on tense, aspect, 
actionality, and modality/evidentiality. The CHRONOS conferences welcome substantial and innovative 
presentations from scholars who conduct linguistic research from different perspectives, concerning 
any language, regardless of theoretical persuasions.

CHRONOS est le principal colloque international consacré à la recherche linguistique actuelle sur le 
temps, l’aspect, l’actionnalité et la modalité/évidentialité. Les colloques CHRONOS accueillent des 
contributions substantielles et novatrices de chercheurs étudiant le langage dans des perspectives 
différentes, à travers des langues diverses et selon des cadres théoriques variés.

Maria Kihlstedt (Paris X). Acquisition of TMA.

Call for Workshop Proposals / Appel à propositions d'ateliers :

Proposals consist in a one-page description of the aims and scope of the workshop and a 
one-page abstract of each of the intended contributions. Between 6 and 9 papers should be 
assembled, and some submissions to the general call may be integrated to workshops in 
consultation with organisers. The submission should be sent on the EasyChair page of the 
conference by January 5, 2015: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=chronos12.

As a total of 6 workshops can be accepted, proponents are very strongly encouraged to 
contact Emmanuelle Labeau (E.Labeau AT Aston.ac DOT uk) early in the process to check the 
suitability of the envisaged themes and avoid foreseeable disappointments. Notification of 
decisions will be provided at the end of February 2015.

Les propositions réuniront un résumé d’une page des objectifs et des thèmes abordés et un 
résumé d’une page de chaque contribution retenue. On réunira entre 6 et 9 présentations, et 
des propositions de communications à l’appel général pourront être intégrées aux ateliers en 
consultation avec leurs organisateurs. Les propositions d’atelier seront soumises via la page 
EasyChair de la conférence avant le 5 janvier 2015 : https://easychair.org/conferences/?

Un maximum de 6 ateliers pouvant être acceptés, les intéressés sont fortement invités à 
contacter Emmanuelle Labeau (E.Labeau AT Aston.ac DOT uk) pour discuter de l’adéquation 
des thèmes proposés et ainsi éviter les déconvenues. La décision du comité scientifique sera 
transmise en février 2015.
