Department of Psychology – Higher-Level Cognition

The Department of Psychology is seeking to fill a tenure-track assistant
professor faculty position, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2015. We
are interested in candidates with exceptional promise conducting research in
the area of higher-level cognition, broadly construed. Research interests may
include but are not limited to language, learning, reasoning, decision-making,
concepts, attention, expertise, memory, social cognition, or metacognition.
Use or development of new experimental or computational methods is highly
desirable. The department is interested in candidates who will contribute to
diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching,
research, and service.

Ph.D. or equivalent is required by date of hire. Candidates must have
completed all degree requirements except the dissertation at the time of
