The British Council is planning to publish a volume of selected articles on
'ELT in Iran' under the editorship of Professor Chris Kennedy of the
University of Birmingham in the British Council Teaching English Series, and
welcomes potential contributions.

Coverage will include primary, secondary and tertiary English Language
education as well as teacher training and development, in both the private and
public sectors, at different levels of the curriculum, including syllabus,
materials and methodologies, and their links with policy. The intention is to
produce a volume expressing the 'state-of-the art' of ELT in Iran with an
underlying theme of change and innovation.

Articles will be between 3-5000 words long, integrating theory and practice
and written with a knowledgeable professional audience in mind. There will be
a small honorarium paid for published contributions.

If you would like an article to be considered, you should contact Chris
Kennedy by email (c.j.kennedy at bham.ac.uk) by 26th September 2014 with a short
100-200 word abstract.
