Description:

Assistant Professor of Spanish, tenure-track, beginning August 2015. 
Specialist in second language (L2) literacies desired, or related fields in
applied linguistics or second language acquisition.  Completed PhD by August
1, 2015.  Teach 5 courses per year at graduate or undergraduate levels.  This
will include curricular development and instruction of L2 Spanish composition
courses as well as instruction of graduate-level language and literacy courses
in support of departmental M.A. programs in Second Language Acquisition.
Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English.  Successful
candidate will value diversity in all its dimensions, and consider different
cultural perspectives in solving problems in this area.
