Meeting Description:

Formed in 2011, the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain (ULAB) has brought together undergraduate students from all over the UK in its annual conference five times. The 6th annual conference of ULAB will take place at the University of Aberdeen.

At the moment ULAB is the only organisation in Britain whose main goal is to bring linguistics discussions to undergraduate students and provide them with with the opportunity to present their work and showcase undergraduate research in language sciences.

During the three days, undergraduate linguistics students from all over United Kingdom will present their research, get feedback, participate in discussions and attend various workshops. Interest in the conference has grown drastically over the past five years, demonstrating that ULAB fills a gap in the levels of linguistics networks.

Call for Papers:

This is call for papers to the 6th International Conference of Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain. Please submit your abstract here: http://lingstudents.co.uk/host-ulab2016/

We welcome submissions on any topic in the field of linguistics. Abstracts must not be longer than 300 words (including references, if any). Do not add tables, photos or diagrams to your abstract. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

You do not have to be an undergraduate student to present but you are only allowed to submit work carried out when you were an undergraduate student, so long as your undergraduate studies were completed no more than three years after submitting the abstract.
