Subject: LINGUIST List Holiday Break

 
Dear Subscribers,

LINGUIST will be on its yearly holiday recess from Saturday, 19 December
2014 to Sunday 3 January 2015. During that time, with the exception of
emergencies, there will be no issues posted. Although the website will
be available, some pages may not be updated during that time.

Any message submitted to our web form by midnight EST (U.S.) Wednesday,
16 December, will be posted before the break. To submit an item for
posting, visit:
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm

Except for emergencies, submissions we receive after 17 December will
not be posted until after we return on 4 January 2015. Anyone wishing to
submit an emergency message, please enter 'URGENT' in the subject line
of the submission, and send an email notification to:
linguist at linguistlist.org.

We would also like to take this opportunity and invite you to meet us at
the Linguistic Society of America. LINGUIST List will hold office
hours on Friday, January 8, 5:00-6:00 pm, exact location to be
announced. Please join us to find out – among others -  about our new
service, GeoLing.
