Call Deadline: 30-Apr-2015

Cuadernos de Lingüística de El Colegio de México is an electronic
peer-reviewed journal published yearly. Its aim is to disseminate current
linguistic research about several languages and from different theoretical
perspectives. Thus, we seek for the papers we publish to contribute to our
understanding of language systems, either from a theoretical or purely
descriptive point of view. All the contents of this journal are open access
and free of charge for authors and readers alike.

The two first volumes are arranged thematically. The first one, ''Descriptive
studies on Purépecha'' (2013) comprises a series of works about the
morphology, syntax and semantics of this language isolate spoken in the
western state of Michoacán, México. The second one, published in 2014, centers
around linguistic variation and change.

We extend an invitation to researchers, students and language specialists from
all institutions to submit your manuscripts in Spanish or English for
publication to the following electronic address:
cuadernosdelinguistica at colmex.mx. The closing date for our next volume is
April 30th, 2015. We accept research articles, book reviews and short squibs,
on any sub-discipline of linguistics, about any language and from any
theoretical perspective.
