Subject: Italian L2 students needed for perceptual survey

We are soliciting L2 (learner) Italian students for participation in a short,
web-based survey about impressions of different speakers and voices in
Italian. This survey should take about 10 minutes. Students of all
first-languages, levels, L2 Italian proficiencies, and backgrounds are welcome
to participate. It may be accessed at the following link:

https://it.surveymonkey.com/s/italianvoicesvST

When completing the survey, participants will be asked to listen to and rate a
series of twelve voice samples (each is about 20 seconds long): the script is
identical across all of the samples, but the voices and speakers differ. All
responses should be based entirely on participants' subjective impressions and
feelings: there are no correct or incorrect, good or bad, right or wrong
answers.

All answers will be automatically and anonymously saved by the survey program:
there is no need to log on or provide anything other than basic demographic
details (ge, gender, and language background). The researchers will not see or
have access to any personal data or revelatory information.

This is part of a larger project investigating perceptions of different
speakers in a number of languages, conducted by Prof. Eric Russell, at the
University of California - Davis. If you have any questions or concerns,
please feel free to contact him.

Instructional faculty are especially welcome to forward the link to their
students.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance with this valuable research!
