The Language Department of the University of Southeastern Philippines in collaboration with the Linguistic Society of Mindanao (LSM) announces its 2nd International Conference on Language and Linguistics on August 6-7 2015, to be held at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City, Philippines with the theme “Current Trends and Issues in Applied Linguistics”.

Pragmatics
Sociolinguistics

Interdisciplinary Research in Language and Linguistics
Abstract Submission Guidelines

Submit a 300-word abstract and 150-word bio. It should be based on empirical evidence and has a clearly defined theoretical framework or approach. Each abstract will be refereed by experts of the chosen field. Chosen presenters will be notified on January 15, 2014. They will be asked to submit the full paper thereafter.

Paragraph Format: Justified
Title: All in CAPITAL LETTERS (center), with Name/s, Affiliation, Email Address
Keywords: Five (5) to ten (10) words

Speakers will be given 30 minutes each (20 minutes for presentation, and 10 minutes for questions).

Deadline of submission is on April 30, 2015.
Date of notification: May 15, 2015

All chosen abstracts will be published in a refereed journal.
