Dear Linguist List Community,

I am a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison currently conducting
an online survey for native speakers of German. I am reaching out to the
Linguist List community in hopes that you will be able to help me reach a
larger audience. If you know any native speakers of German, please take a
moment to forward the message in German below. Additionally, please encourage
them to forward the link on to their friends and family in a viral fashion.
If you are a native speaker of German and have a half hour of time to spare,
please consider taking a moment to complete the survey:

Even if you yourself do not have time to complete the survey, please consider
forwarding the message on to your friends and family, and encouraging them to
forward the link on as well. All native speakers of all varieties of German
are encouraged to participate.

ich promoviere in deutscher Sprachwissenschaft an der University of
Wisconsin-Madison, USA. Ich verteile zur Zeit eine Umfrage, auf deren
Ergebnissen ein Teil meiner Dissertation basiert ist. Ich suche deswegen
Deutsch-Muttersprachler(innen), die bereit wären, an einer elektronischen
Umfrage per Internet teilzunehmen. Dafür braucht man ungefähr 30 Minuten Zeit
