We are happy to announce that the 45th Poznan Linguistic Meeting (PLM2013) will take place on 17-19 September 2015 (Thursday-Saturday) in Poznan, Poland. The meeting will be organized by the Faculty of English of Adam Mickiewicz University. The venue of PLM2015 will be the building of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, part of the new AMU campus in Poznan's northern district of Morasko, a venue that very successfully hosted the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea.

Leitmotif:

The leitmotif of the 45th PLM will be ''Understanding linguistic concepts''.

Special Events:

There will be a panel discussion on the topic of this year's leitmotif.

1. A panel discussion on the topic of this year’s leitmotif. Confirmed participants:

Greg Króliczak (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań)

2. Meet the editor: A workshop on publishing in Brain and Language by Steven Small

3. A satellite session on language endangerment and revitalization

Submissions:

Proposals of papers for both oral and poster sessions related to this main theme, as well as to other fields of modern linguistics, are invited.

Each paper in the oral session will be given 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion. Poster sessions will be an integral part of the conference programme. The language of the conference is English.

We also invite proposals for Thematic Sessions / Workshops. These proposals should include a clear statement of its objectives/topic/message (about 250 words) as well as at least four names of proposed speakers (with affiliations) and a sample bibliography. The proposals should be submitted via email to the organizing committee. Thematic workshop proposals will be subject to review by our International Advisory Board.

Please note that the organizer(s) of a thematic/workshop session will be expected to solicit submissions, organize the reviewing process, and submit a complete set of abstracts by the main submission deadline.

All abstracts (including thematic/workshop session abstracts) will be processed using the EasyChair conference management system. All regular submissions (posters and presentations) will be reviewed by our International Advisory Board.
