Meeting Description:

The development of technology in the digital age has offered exciting opportunities for teachers, learners, and administrators to engage in multi-modal learning environment. On the other hand, this creates theoretical and practical challenges for teachers and administrators in the provision of such learning environment that can benefit the digital native learners. For researchers, these phenomena may raise the questions of whether such environment actually opens new theoretical framework and best practices in language teaching and learning processes. 

The conference aims at providing and updating critical theoretical and practical knowledge, practices, and potentials of the incorporation of technology into multi-modal environment of language teaching and learning processes to teachers, administrators, and researchers in the field of Technology-Assisted Language Learning.

Sub-Themes:

- The challenges and practices of integrating technologies in language teaching and learning
- The challenges and practices of blended learning, e-learning, and multi-media based learning
- The challenges and practices of technology-based assessments in language teaching and learning
- New developments in pedagogy of language teaching and/or content with technology
- The use of mobile technology, games, and social media in language teaching and learning
- Technologies for teacher education
- Local, Regional, and National Challenges and/or Reforms in Technology Use in language teaching and learning
- The issues of identity and language in the integration of technology in language teaching and learning
- Other related issues

Call for Papers:

The organizer invites submissions of abstracts in areas relevant to the theme and sub-themes of the conference from researchers, teachers, administrators, and those whose interests are in the area of technology integration into language teaching and learning. 

The abstract should consist of 200-250 words, with clear intention of being presented as 30-minute paper, 90-minute workshop, or poster presentations.
