Meeting Description:

The graduate students of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida cordially invite submissions for our 9th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan Linguistics, Literature, and Cultures. This event will take place March 27 – 28, 2015.

The colloquium will feature two outstanding Keynote Speakers:

Dr. Pablo Brescia
Professor of Latin American Literature
University of South Florida

Dr. Jorge Valdés Kroff
Assistant Professor of Spanish Linguistics
University of Florida

Call for Papers:

We are accepting proposals both for individual papers and whole panels (with a maximum of three presentations). Please submit your one-page, single-spaced abstract of approximately 250 words with title via EasyAbs (http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/ufcoloquio2015) by February 15, 2015. Abstracts and papers can be submitted in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Catalan. Please inform us if you are using any kind of technology for your presentation. Be sure to include your name, institutional affiliation and email address as well as a brief biography. All presentations will have a 20-minute limit followed by a 10-minute discussion period.
