Foreign Language Curriculum Development
Opportunities for Subject Matter Experts

The International Center for Language Studies (ICLS), based in Washington, DC, is currently looking for Subject Matter Experts to develop country and topic-specific cultural training courses for the following countries:

- Bahrain
- South Korea
- Japan
- Italy
- Burma
- Spain
- Panama
- Philippines
- United Arab Emirates

Applicants should hold a PhD. or EdD in a field related to foreign language, foreign / international business or international relations, or degrees directly related to the country / region for which they are to serve as subject matter experts.  Applicants need to have resided a minimum of six (6) years within the preceding ten (10) years in the target country, fully immersed in the predominant culture. Successful candidates should be native or near-native speakers of the official language of the respective country.  

The project requires a commitment of about 6 weeks of full-time/part-time work beginning in September and can, for the most part, be completed remotely.  

The remuneration will be an hourly rate in the rage of $60-$70 based on qualifications and prior experience.
